I use this product to complete the purchase of my products i have a coffe shop and zettle let us generate more purchases because other business lose clients because they don't accept card payement.
  • It is really practical to move anywhere
  • It has great connection in most places
  • You don’t need a minimun amount of sales required to get the zettle like with the bank options
  • The commission is not to high
  • The commission can be less
  • The design of the product is a little old
  • The connection a very few times fail
I think it is perfect for little business like entrepreneurs and for bigger business i think it is better use the bank's terminal. I see many posibilities to use it in microbusiness. And it is really helpfull on this kind of business for the facility and freedom to don’t have limits to use it. I think if the commission sounds great for you, use it!
  • Flexibility
  • Low cost
  • Great plataform to see your incomes
  • My roi grow significantly because many people use cards instead cash
  • My team it feels great because they don’t have to say no to our clients when they ask if we offered this payment option
  • We got our goals and grow them

We use PayPal Zettle as a means to process credit card payments for our small newspaper. We tend to run through about two transactions per day. The combination of a card reader and an app makes it much easier and less stressful to be able to process payments. Some of our payments range from under $10 to over $1,000. Having one consolidated system that feeds into our existing PayPal account is crucial.
  • Ease of Use
  • Immediate Payment
  • Good conflict resolution
  • Use of the app
  • Rates are relatively high
  • Should automatically send chip reader
  • Descriptions do not always show up in card statements
I recommend PayPal Zettle quite a bit, actually. Its flexibility is easy enough to use for people who are not used to technology. Square has good traits, too, but since so many people already have PayPal accounts, it makes it much easier to use. It is perfect for everyday use of bot large and small transactions.
  • Portability
  • Ease of use
  • Instant access to funds
  • Allows me to process card payments anywhere-- in the office or on the road
  • Rates are higher than competitors
  • Good customer support makes errors less likely
Square has good software and is relatively easy to use. The Square payment screen is more advanced than the basic model that PayPal uses. However, PayPal was a service that I already used-- and the company made it easy to integrate it into our business. Convenience and ease of use were key.

We use PayPal Here in order to take customer credit card payments on site for our service business. PayPal Here is used across our whole organization. Since our business is not one that takes place in in office, we need to be able to take credit card payments wherever we are. This is where PayPal Here comes in handy.
  • The user interface is very easy to use and intuitive.
  • The free card reader is invaluable to businesses that choose not to invest in more expensive options. The cost for entry is not a roadblock to accepting payments.
  • The PayPal here app is compatible with different operating systems, so it doesn't matter if you have an iPhone or an Android.
  • While swiped payments are easy, manual entry of payment information often fails. This is a major roadblock when you are in the service industry because not everyone who is making payment is on site.
  • In almost every instance of accepting a payment, we have to call in and reverify every piece of information about our business before we are successful.
  • Whatever system they use to determine how high risk your business is can limit your usage if they get it wrong.
  • Customer service is inconsistent at best. Sometimes issues are handled quickly and easily, other time you have to jump through hoops.
PayPal Here seems to be well suited for low volume merchants with a low average sale. We seem to struggle to have any kind of stability or success in taking payments with an average single sale amount of $300 and have to call in for help every time. They also don't always follow their own rules regarding when they will hold funds and when they won't.
  • One positive impact that PayPal here has had on our business is the ability to accept credit card payments which in itself increases our customer basis by 50%.
  • When PayPal fails, we have to pay higher fees to other processors, although I don't have an exact dollar impact.
  • When we struggle to take a payment using PayPal Here it makes our customers uneasy.
Compared to Square, PayPal Here is less much less reliable. I have never struggled to take a payment with Square whether I was swiping the card or manually entering the card information. I feel like our customers are more accustomed to seeing the Square card reader as well and that they trust it more. I initially chose PayPal here because I was familiar with using PayPal outside of business and because the fees were competitive.
